OK this is frankly one of the most disappointing banks I've bought. I snapped it up because I love Chromaphone and usually the banks AAS release for it are worth having but a third of this is just really basic drum kicks, snares etc which to me is filler, and the other sounds are pretty samey and not doing anything for me either. Wish you could return banks but nevermind, I suppose I should have demoed it and not taken it on trust so my mistake. I do think it's being described on their site wrong though - I was attracted to the 'dreamy and haunting vibe' and 'emotional and ominous' sounds - this is totally not the case.
(I do realise some people will love that it is more 'bread and butter' but just not for me)

Yeah it’s always a good idea to demo the sounds using their Swatch instrument. It gets refreshed with each new sound set.
The autotune demo song was a huge turnoff. Complete shit.

Thanks for sharing the info. I just listened to the demo and am not sure, if I should grab it.

That should have been a red flag I guess but didn't listen to it.masterhiggins wrote: Wed Mar 20, 2019 5:22 pm Yeah it’s always a good idea to demo the sounds using their Swatch instrument. It gets refreshed with each new sound set.

I agree that the Turmoil District bank is not very good. Fortunately, I surmised that by listening to the demo tracks without wasting my money on buying it. Many of the Chromaphone banks are really well done (sound developers I especially like are Simon Stockhausen, Richard Devine, Martin Walker, Francis Preve and Christian Laffitte), just Turmoil District and Octagon are the only two banks I really don't like.aMUSEd wrote: Wed Mar 20, 2019 4:56 pm https://www.applied-acoustics.com/turmoil-district/
