i'm helping a friend with audio for an animated short she is doing. will definitely need explosion sounds, maybe some fighting sounds, and likely some goofy cartoon samples. i'm mostly a rock guy, but i've found some killer deals on this forum for plugs. i'm curious if there is another forum like this only more focused on sound effects where folks sell/trade samples they are no longer using?

You might want to look for sound design forums for media, I guess, rather than music forums. But the Sonniss bundle for this year just dropped about a week ago, and if you grab that one and the past few years' bundles too, you might have everything you need for free.

I found the Sonniss site, but am I mistaken, they didn't seem to be free? Also, I thought the Hanna Barbera samples were pricey? I just don't wanna get the client in trouble down the line if it happens to be successful.

and don't get me wrong, I'm happy to pay for things, but hoping to maybe find a deal of someone unloading stuff they no longer need/use.
