I use VirtualMidiSynth, but 3.65 refuses to see it and only allows Microsoft GS Wavetable Synth as a MIDI Output device. Whather I use ASIO ot MME, it's still the same.
Is this a known problem? Is there a better Synth? I only have a Realtek HD sound (on the Motherboard) on this testing computer.

RC lists all MIDI outputs that Windows offers. I do not know why VirtualMidiSynth does not appear.
It is much better to use the included GS soundfont, you don't need any external software to make sounds in RapidComposer (VirtualMidiSynth also uses soundfonts). Just select "SF2: GeneralUser GS-RC.sf2" as the track instrument.
Thanks,
Attila
