is it possible to import groove template & maps for quantizing in Cubase Sx? I know I can make my own inside cubase but it's a big hassle and I'm never thrilled about my results :?

If so, does anyone know a place where people share their grooves?

You can import old 5.x style *.prt files using the 5.x import feature, there should be some of these on the CD (the DNA ones as nuffink mentions). You can also import standard MIDI files and use the "convert to groove" feature.

Once they have been imported or created, I think the way to exchange grooves between users is copying/pasting between XML files.

DNA you say?

can you elaborate a bit? I found a site on dnagrooves.com which seems to on the right track but on the download page there are no actual links to anything, and on the purchase page it says that nothing is available.

so what is thiks DNA thing?

They can be found on some of the Cubase discs.

On the 5.x CD they are in-

"CDdrive:\Library\DNA Grooves\"

On the SX3 DVD they are in-

"DVDdrive:\Additional Content\Cubase VST Groove Parts\"

I don't think they are on the SX2 CD, or the ftp.

Awww shit! They're not on the SX2 disc? I've not got around to looking yet. And I wiped off all of my VST5.1 folders when I bought SX2, bah :(

There were some nice grooves in there.
