Hi everyone,

I'm writing to announce a brand new Slate Trigger pack called "Classic Snare Collection Vol. 1". The packs also include all 24 bit WAV files for anyone looking to import them into a sampler of their choice.

The pack is available at https://www.eatsleepdrums.com/classic-s ... s-included and features the following snare drums:

Ludwig 14x5 Supraphonic (1960’s chrome over brass shell) - in a high tuning.
Ludwig 14x6.5 classic maple - in both high and low tunings
Ayotte Custom maple 13x5.5 - in both high and low tunings
Pearl Sensitone Aluminium 14x5 - in both high and low tunings.

You can visit https://www.eatsleepdrums.com/ to find out more about each sample pack, the microphones used for the capture and to watch some demonstration videos where I sample replace an intricately played snare drum part with each of the sample packs with stunning results!

The pack is priced at £15 or else you can purchase individual drums from the collection for £5 each.

Many thanks for your continued support and kind words as always. Below I've included some videos demonstrating each of the snare drums, in one of its particular tuning, belonging to the pack.

Cheers, Mark.

Ayotte, nice. Classic big-brand drums are reasonably well sampled, but the Ayotte, Craviotto, A&F or Brady type of boutique stuff could use a lot more coverage.

Hey,
Thanks so much for the reply. Yes I agree 100%, the Ayotte stuff in particular is just fantastic but sadly here in Europe they rarely get a mention. A friend has a beautiful Brady snare so it's on my list of drums to sample very soon. It's actually the loudest snare i've ever heard!

Cheers,
Mark.

Awesome! And sampling just snares is so much more fun than anything involving waiting for ride cymbals to stop ringing, haha.

The samples sound nice :)

Hahaha I completely agree! I also released a cymbal sample pack a while back and it was the most frustrating thing i've ever recorded in my life, never again!!!! Haha :)
