Both Kaoss pads on sale second hand: which to buy. my keyboard is Nord modular which doesnt have pitch bend or modulation wheels. I'd like to get a Kaoss pad to use to do this.

Can the Kaoss Pad 1 do this? Does this option come as preset onboard? I dont want to go arseing about with hex code to program this in. Sound wise K2 is clearer, more transparent thsn K1 - Right? Any other major differences?

I had a KP2 but can't answer your question - I would say go for the newer version - it has updated FX and is going to be newer as well.
