Hi,
A couple of (kind of linked) questions
1. I would like to be able to apply different FX to different parts of a Drum Kit. The most common example being I dont want any reverb on the bass drum, but I do want compression.
2. Is it possible to route different parts of a drum kit to different outputs. e.g. bass Drum on 1+2, snare on 2+3 etc ?
These are probably obvious answers to both, but I am an ST Newbie so your help much appreciated
Thanks
Paul

paulie,
Thats easy.
Just load the drumkit e.g. in MIDI part 10 and 11.
Set MIDI part 10 and MIDI part 11 both to MIDI channel 10.
Now set "ZONE" to "ON".
Select MIDI part 10 and can set the level to zero for all Bass drums in part 10.
Select MIDI part 11 and can set the level to zero for all EXCEPT the Bass drums in part 11.
The Drumkit is now split over 2 MIDI parts.
You can extend this split method to more MIDI parts if needed.
Remember to save your preset !

Many thanks you clever thing
I was sort of hoping that there was an equivalent feature to Computer Musics DS404 where you can group a notes and assign to one of 4 outputs. This is a good work around tho. The real objective is to separate the bass drum from the rest of the kit so i'll only have to load the kit twice
Thanks
