Hey everyone, does anybody know if there's a heavy metal growl library out there?
The closes I've comes is this:

It's pretty reasonably priced, however it has words as part of the vocal samples and I'm essentially looking for a heavy metal growl version of an aah- or an ooh choir.

Marie Ork. Getting her to sing words naturally is hard, growling's easier, and growling just vowels works quite well, you can move some parameters around to vary the timbre. There are also some UTAU vocals, and I don't know enough about UTAU to tell you whether you could also get raw vowel WAVs out of those. If you really, really want I could probably dig up the raw vowel recordings for Marie Ork so you could use them outside the Alter/Ego synthesis engine.
A sample-based vocal, not sure if there's anything outside of that Soundiron library, but maybe some stuff meant for horror soundtracks and SFX would work?
