Oh yeah for sure. I just think I would use Una Corda a lot more and also why Noire caught my eye. Has the nice stock grand piano sound and also the felt piano. Decisions decisions.rezoneight wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 2:21 amI like (and own) both.pettinhouse wrote: Sat Mar 30, 2019 10:15 pmAs I said, it's a matter of taste, for example I don't like UNA CORDA.ckam03 wrote: Sat Mar 30, 2019 9:55 pmI honestly don't like Grandeur all that much. I like the tone, I think it fits perfectly in many genres especially modern style but I already have lots of NI pianos and the one that I mostly use is the Grandeur.
I didn't try this NOIRE, I don't know, probably I will buy it one day even if in general I'm not in need of pianos.
For me now my perfect piano is the GRANDEUR and Alicia Keys.
What I like from the Grandeur is the you can get the "same" dark sound of NOIRE ( at least what I heard from the demo ) but also a rich and clear tone especially when you hit hard on your keys and that is what I really love from it. It's a matter of taste of course but simply I love its tone when you hit hard plus what I love from it is that more you press and more it gives. When I tried other pianos I had always that typical feeling of playing a sample library with its limit in velocity range. Not with GRANDEUR, of course, it is a sample library, it has velocity limits but it is so dynamic that sometimes I feel like I'm playing a real piano.
Another thing ( for me ) makes a great sample library is how the samples are mapped on velocity.
I should admit that I feel great playing with the Grandeur even if I prefer to play ( in terms of feeling, how it is mapped ) the Alicia Keys. It is soooo perfect on my fingers.
Hope to get the NOIRE on some Black friday.Una Corda is fantastic but its also not a general purpose instrument like Grandeur is.

My favorite from N.I. is the Gentleman. I do not like the Grandeur really much and prefer the Spectrasonics Keyscape C7.
Una Corda and The Giant are great as well. The Maverick is not bad too (but i never use it really).
But i think Noire sounds really great (at least judging the demos) and i could need a 9" concert grand. A felted version on top is nice to have.
I hope next they make the Giant 2 with the Klavins Model 450i.

Una Corda is one i have had on my list for a long time. I always liked the sound in the demos, ever since it came out. The only thing stopping me buying it on its own is that its part of Komplete.pettinhouse wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 2:48 pmI already have UNA CORDA and yes, it is not for all kind of genre. Now that Massive X is on its way to be released, and Piano Noire is has been released, I am waiting for NI to discount to Komplete collection which I think might (or should ) include all three products. For double the price of Una Corda @ 50% sale on its own, you get all three products plus others that you may or may not want or use.
That's the problem with NI's buffet all you can eat business model.

Almost all your tracks have severe timing issues. I'm talking about the ones that actually have a rhythmic feel. You never leave a description, but in case if you were interested in feedback, that's what I'm hearing.
I am aware of it and I still have a lot of work to progress it's exciting to start

Just to be clear. Noire isn't going to be included in Komplete 12. It will likely be added in Komplete 13 though, but that's probably quite a while away (and if you're going to wait for Komplete 13 and a 50% off sale on it, you'll be waiting a while.telecode wrote: Sun Mar 31, 2019 2:56 pm

If it's something that interests you, you're better off just buying it, or waiting at least til they do one of their 50% off sales on individual products. Which also won't be for a while, but sooner than Komplete 13.

I think that's correct. NI don't usually add something once they have finalized the lineup for a version of Komplete - they only provide updates to existing versions of included software. Having said that, they have said that owners of K12 will get a free update to Massive X when it is released.
Sweet child in time...
