It's really so much more than that but I find it awfully hard to describe how. For me a big part of what makes it fun is the ability to mess with the clock frequency in interesting ways and then to capture a buffer and mess with it further.

I don't generally mess with the other firmwares although the beat repeater, Beatrick, is pretty fun.

None of which probably helps you very much…
