Dashboard/Internall controller question (FL Studio)

O.K., so I have created a dashboard with 3 sliders.
#1 controls the freq. in an mda plug-in
#2 controls the freq in a Fruity plug
#3 controls sliders #1 and #2. (they are linked inversely, so #1 increases while #2 decreases).
When I move slider #3, the other two move correctly, but the plugs they control do not change values, though both are still linked to them.
What am I missing? I have read the Help to no avail.
Thanks.

how have you linked the parameters of the pluggins? by last parameter tweaked or putting the control number for both slides in the dashboard manually?

Also did you try selecting/unselecting remove conflicts in the link box?

I just did it with my B4 dashboard, I added a knob, linked the first slide to it, then I linked the second slide to it and unchecked remove conflicts. I turned the new knob both slides on the dash and B4 responded.

yup that works I inversed it and when I turned the new knob they weny opposite....thanx man I never would of thought of that, now I learned something new and an answer to a query on what to do in my latest song...

Glad to be so helpful!
There no conflict problems (you are correct in UNselecting remove conflicts to link multiple controllers), but I am using the "last parameters tweaked" menu selection.
Also, I automated slider #3 and when the the pattern plays, it all automates correctly, but I can't realtime/ manually move slider #3 and hear effects.
Of course it could be the Athlon 950 I'm working on
Any other thoughts?

okay I just loaded an mda loudness and fl filter. I made a dash with one slide and locked it closed. I then right clicked on the loudness knob on the mda, selected link to controller and in the drop down menu selected the dashboard slide....besides none it was the only option, Then I right clicked cut off knob in the fl filter and did the samething and selected that slide as well. I unchecked remove conflicts, inversed it and when I moved the one slide on the dash they went opposite (loundness and cut off)

and I automated it...

'yep, that works allright, and it's really all I need.
I built a dash with your set up, only w/ 2 sliders
2 sliders,
each slider controlled 2 fx parameters on different fx.
(4 total fx parameters, 2 linked to each slider).
I then created a 3rd slider, and linked the 2 sliders to #3, so that 1 slider --> controls 2 sliders-->Slider #1 controls fx 1,2 while Slider #2 controls fx 3,4.
Moving slider #3, moved sliders 1 and 2, but not the fx parameters in realtime.
(Why would I want to do this you ask? After setting up a bunch of controllers, I didn't want to rework the ration formulas. I didn't realize I would rather control everything with one slider until too late

what two pluggins?...I think you're adding two more sliders in the dashboard then you need. I had just haf one in my dash and link the parameter knobs on the pluggins both to it.

notice the position of the slide, loudness and cutoff in this picture
now all I did was slide the slide to where it is, notice loudness increased and cutoff decreased

Yes, you're right, I have two extra sliders. I was just wondering if it could work, but I guess not.
Your method works well. cool pix btw. Do you have to have your own webspace to link to them from?

Where I ran into prob's was trying to set up an inverted steppy logarythmic controller response. I needlesy complicated things (which I am prone to do
) in search of a fix. thanks for your perserverance!

duh, here is my best solution:
In the controller mapping dialog box in the link to controller, this formula
1-Int(Input*25)/24
provides and inverted, steppy ratio, in which the steps=semitones.
the "1-" inverts the formula "Int(Input*25)/24"
Maybe that will provide some fun for you too!

oops, this one is inverted logarythmic steppy in semitones:
Tension(1-Int(Input*25)/24,-10)
Tension(1-Int(Input*25)/24,-10)
