Could someone please post an attachment of a simple and working Ableton Live project/template that configures the USAMO correctly? Anyone using one or more of these devices?
I'm having some trouble lining up my TR-8's audio "to the grid." As of now, I had better luck using Live's built-in MIDI Sync with an adjustment of -25ms. This lined up the beats nicely, but the first beat was always lost, and jitter caused the sync to lose accuracy and drift over time.
My thinking is that the USAMO sync signal should NOT be adjusted, but each audio input from each hardware device I intend to sync (right now, just the TR-8) should be compensated. In other words, one good and solid sync signal to all, and delay comp tailored to each device.
With that in mind, I've tried different values in Track Delay, External Instrument, and External Audio Effect to no avail. No matter what value I enter, the audio does not budge! Usually in most cases, the latter two do indeed provide results for me, but not with the USAMO. Maybe because it's not MIDI?

The usamo plugin allows to adjust the clock sent by the device.
