They are updating the (very) old stuff, because back when they coded it they had to make a lot of concessions due to CPU restrictions and hence weren't really satisfied with it anymore (which is they reason why they didn't/don't sell some of them separately until now).
Tony Agnello certainly did not make a secret out of not being satisfied with the Flanger and the Phaser and wanting to redo them.

And there really is a day and night difference. So personally I am very very happy that they do this. Getting them even for free is the icing on the cake. I so love this company, I really do!
Yes, recently we've been focused on getting some of the vintage pieces right. As mentioned, Tony (and a number of us, myself included) have been unhappy with the quality of a few of the emulations for years, and wanted to take the opportunity to get them dialed in to the point that we were satisfied.

That being said, there are plenty of new and interesting things in the upcoming plug-in pipeline. We're not content just modelling old gear :)

I own the suite and it’s a real thrill to have these plugins refurbished.

Huge fan of Eventide.

This is absolutely awesome to hear!!

Still, you do have some classics that could benefit massively from a revisit. The Omnipressor is totally unique and also those two EQ plugins you have.. the 45 and 65 or whatever they are called. With modern component modeling knowledge and whatever magic you've managed to instill into these mk2 plugins, those classics could for sure benefit a lot and introduce them to a whole new generation of users! Especially the Omnipressor is way underrated.

Bought it, but cannot get my Eventide account verified. Tried two mail addresses, checked the spam folder, wrote their support - no answer... Hm. :help: Anyone else having difficulties getting this registered with a new account?!

O.k., seems to be an issue with Safari. The website says "sent password", but didn't. Firefox did the the trick, and I could finally log in. Happy user now! ;-)
