The Ukulele Concerto is a sample library for Kontakt. The size of the concert ukulele is between the tenor and soprano. We tried to capture the natural sound of the acoustic instrument so that you could use it in your compositions. We also wanted to make the instrument as simple and flexible as possible. You can use the 'ukulele concerto' as a solo instrument to create memorable melodic lines and also as a rhythmic instrument using the 'strum mode' to support your rhythm section.
We recorded chromatic notes in the range from C3 (middle C) to A4. Each note of each articulation has 4 dynamic layers and 2 repetitions (round robin) for a more realistic sound. For the 'strum mode' we also recorded each string on each fret separately. To play chords you need to press a chord with your right hand in the range C3-A4 and press upstroke or downstroke with your left hand. In your right hand you can use close or open chord voicing, as well as their inversions.
