1.2.1 seems much better now. Sounds great (and much more stable).

Installer "froze" for several seconds (I almost didn't wait it took so long).
Maybe the beta doesn't like my install path, even though the installer knows where I put stuff on my external hd.
What is generic install for it? Program Files>VstPlugins?
I can try in default location when I know.

So i updated to newer beta, bug that sources gets highlighted and stays that way still exists. And in some patches sourches are highlighted for no apearent reason at all (for example BASS Pure Filth by electronisounds). Numerical sorting in browser still not fixed. (Check venus theory patches, it goes 1, 11, 2, 3 ,4)

Font size in the browser still unproportional (this might be just aesthetic tho).

Feature, not a bug. We use regular string comparison strcmp to sort strings. 11 comes before 2 as a string.

@KV331, thanks for your hard work, can I submit some presets for SMone?

Post

I am getting a very consistent crash now in VST2's EditIdle when I load a document with 6 instances of v1.2.1. Access violation error. The editIdle function is called directly after the edit window is loaded. I was able to get this document to load without crashing by first, not calling the 'EditIdle' function and then closing all of SM1's edit windows and re-saving the document with all the edit windows closed.

I am also experiencing a problem whereby SM1.2.1 does not render properly initially when rendering faster than real time. The patch that does this is 'Arp The Clanger', I think this may be an arpeggiator issue.

How is that a feature? it makes things not in order, chaotic.

What part of it can I not explain? Preset names are strings. Sorting strings is not the same as sorting numbers! "11" is sorted before "2"

The easiest solution would be to name the presets with padded numbers, like 01, 02, etc.

Yep! I'll do that if I have time today. Since we're releasing the presets in a bank file shouldnt cause any trouble during updates.
