Hi
Not sure if this is in the right forum, none of the others looked like they might be appropriate.

This may be addressed to any Germans reading, possibly.

A mate of mine has an old Echolette combo amp with rotating speaker, model ME1 or MEI, (not sure if it's a 1 or an I) made by Vertriebs? Soz, just reading from a piece of paper here...

He needs a circuit diagram cos some of the components have burnt and he can't read the values.
Does anyone know where one of these might be procured?

We've Googled and been to all the Echolette links but can't understand cos they're mostly in German.
We can translate the first page, but as you probably know, that doesn't seem to work when you try to navigate through the sites.

The company address is:
8440 Straubing
Siemenstrasse 41 - 43
Postfach 68

which doesn't mean a lot to me I'm afraid. :?

So here's a summary:

We need a circuit diagram for an Eholette ME1 (or MEI) made by a German company called Vertriebs.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I only got limited knowledge of German language, but I think "Vertrieb" translates to "Company". After looking at http://www.dynacord.de/echolette.php it seems like the Echolette company was bought by Dynacord in 1969.

Yeah, that's one of the sites we visited but couldn't find any info about this model of Echolette and could only navigate if we left it in German - which was neither use nor ornament to us.
Thanks anyway.

Funny thing is though, I've just translated Vertriebs through http://ets.freetranslation.com/ and it translates as 'banish'. :?

The Echolette ME1 unit you got is too old  You probably also saw advertisements of this other German guy looking for diagrams, now for over a year. Tough...

When looking in dictionaries you have to omit the last S, its not a part of the original "stem" word. A more precise translation should be Distribution, Marketing or Sales Departement. It's a standard addition to the name of a company, not a name by itself. Google it, you'll find millions of "Vertriebs GmbH".[/url]

That makes sense. :)
