Hi all,

is it me, is it Windows, is it Cubase? Maybe an airplane :hihi: ?
Serious, i got into strange behaviour with most of my VST3 Plugins.
When i load one Instrument for example it only renders a really small Portion of the Plugin Windows itself, where i can see the Power, Sidechain, R and W button only!
The Slate VMR channel works fine...

Someone has it too?

Nope. Would be interesting to know which Cubase version you use, though. The one in your signature?

what video card. I remember there being an issue like this with some old amd drivers. Trying to remember the specifics though. I don't believe it was all VST3 plugins. It was something with either ones that have scaling ui's or ones that don't. Can't remember. It's been like 2 years ...
If you have to ask, you can't afford the answer

I'm guessing you have a high-DPI screen and „support" for HiDPI enabled in Settings? Cubase sucks with high-DPI at this time and many plugins are either very small or display with errors :(

Hi all,

yes - i actually still use Cubase 9.5 listed in my signature.
Graphics Card Drivers is a good Point... i remember there was something.
I'm using a NVIDIA Geforce GT 710 with 1x VGA and 1x DVI out, connected to 2 same BenQ's.
However i will check for Driver updates first…

Thanks so far!

Be aware that the latest driver is not always the best one, especially with nVidia. I've had a lot of issues with their 4xx series drivers, so I reverted back to 399.24 which works perfectly for me.

So i updated to latest Cubase (9.5.50 update), Nvidia Driver like mentioned, Windows had an update as well today…
i discovered that i don't have this issue for all vst3 Plugins.
For example i have Instruments from Waldorf, DS Thorn to Name a few. They call up and work fine as VST3.
I recently installed Roland Cloud from which only D50 works well, the other ones don't Show up as described.

I got in touch with support for Looking Forward their opinions and solutions

Got a reply from Roland. They couldn't reproduce my issue. So i have to dig deeper. Maybe i have to reinstall cubase? Or set up everything from ground up?
I already tried reinstalling the less well working plugs without change.
By the way this is more a kind of a comfort Problem. I could stay with the VST2 versions...
