hi everybody,

tracktion under linux 19.1 (i have a low latency kernel, it's easy to install one instead of the "normal" kernel) works perfectly when it comes to use loops, to edit, to manage etc etc.
there are quite a few linux VSTs, ladspa, everything is very fluid BUT

when i try to use my akai MPKmini2, tracktion identifies it properly and when i choose one of the instruments in my bank, tracktion7 shuts down, actually it completely stops.

Has anyone experienced that? where do i go wrong?

thanks

:)

There is a Tracktion/Waveform forum where you might get more help sooner.

[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

SOLUTION FOUND

i managed to add a synth called zynadsubFX to my FX list (i don't know why it wasn't visible before, i installed it all over again)

on MIDI devices section, only MIDI MPK MINI II MIDI 1 is enabled

and then i used that method.

hope it can help someone.

bye ;)
