I got Native Instruments Drumlab as part of Komplete Select and initially I didn't think much of it. I started messing with it again recently and I actually really like it. Some of the presets are great for hip hop and they are really easy to tweak if you wanna customize things.
For some reason people think Native Instruments stuff is kind of passé nowadays (especially here on KVR) so I don't see many people talking about this one. I think it sounds great though and is very unique.

I'll stick with Spark 2...or wait for 3 to arrive. Someone mentioned being a beta tester and that was almost a year ago and I'd agree that it's time for a version 3 ;)

I use Geist 2 and Battery 4 for my hip hop drum needs. I never use the sounds that come with them, i use a lot of drum samples that ive either bought( goldbaby and thedrumbroker) or drums ive sampled myself. If your looking for in all in one hip hop drum machine with boom bap and modern 808 type sounds then Dopesonix Beat Machine 2 is probaly what your looking for. https://www.dopesonix.com/artist/beat-m ... hop-drums/. I have it but never use it simply because Geist 2 and Battery offer more editing options for samples. If your interested ill sell it for $40, half of what there asking.

With the soft Ilok version (no physical dongle), it's very similar to those c/r copy protection used by NI, Arturia, Waves, Roland and others -imho-

Else, Regarding claps, StiX has the special R-Claps envelopes, that no other drum machine have.

And regarding Tr-808 style sounds, or other analog DM, StiX has real analog synthesis with pristine ZDF filters that no sample only based machines will ever offer you. Otoh, it can use samples too, if that is prefered. Or mix both.

This video about Stix micro position and sample accurate timing might also interest you, because these techniques are commonly used for urban beats snare + claps combos or shakers/marracas etc shuffles. Fortunately it can also be done in a daw with hw drum machine and separate tracks, but it usually requires multiple and precise notes manipulations and lot of patterns c/p, so having it inside the machine can be seen as possibly easier. This is a keypoint for 'perfect' grooves imho.

You may be better off spending some money on good sample packs instead for drums. Also, learn how to program your own in synths, which is something I have to start doing now as well.
I've been using SPLICE lately and there isn't much you can't find on there when it comes to drums.
