How to view which VST/plug-in was used in a file (wav)?

Perhaps is not the right way of asking this question, or the right forum. I'm new to the world of virtual instruments, and I would love to know how to view the metadata of a file (.wav) to inspect the instruments/effects/plug-ins used in a professionally mastered track for educational purposes. Is it is possible?

I don't think so, but I'll let someone more knowledgeable answer definitively.

Almost certainly 'no'. Because I pretty much guarantee nothing embeds that information.
(Technically the information could be embedded as metadata, but I cant think of a single useful reason for anything to do so)
