Hi,
I'm currently studying Creative Music Technology in Bath - but I really want to transfer to London as for my third year (2005/06). Does anyone know about a really good place to do so?

Don't bother mate stay in Bath, its a much nicer city to be around! I grew up in the area, i think Bath is a lovely place to be.
But then i guess you want some more studio experience elsewhere

I think it all depends on your plans for the future. If you want to move into a pro studio and work your way up as an engineer or producer, then London is the place to be. Maybe you could apply for an internship for your third year? Sorry though, I cant recommend anyway. Maybe check SOS for some adds?
Otherwise, I'd stay put. London is so expensive!!! Becoming good is more about putting in the hours imo.

yeah, well first of all, this doesn;t apply to this year, but the next. So, no need to move fast
But in terms of london beeing expencive, Bath is quite so as well. But thanks anyway. Never know what happens. The CMT at BathSpa is acctually quite good, so I'll see if what I do after this year.

Another vote for TVU in ealing.
The university doesnt have the greatest name in the world , but the music tech programs are fabulous.
The staff knowedgable and friendly apart from me who is knowledgable but grumpy.
The facilities are excellant some of the best in the country.
