So Stephen Audiospillage are you planning to release Stacker on another developer or distributor site? since from your post it's apparent you have or have had access to code, worked on it, and potentially have the ability to fix the bugs in it that are reported here.

It looks like you have contributed to code from another Sample Magic project, Magic AB, and resurfaced that on an identical product with another distributor.

IMO It doesn't seem fair for mogwaiboy to blame Sample Magic for not updating the code if they apparently don't even own it or have access to it. It seems feasible the developer should update Stacker's bugs and send that to the customers with issues on here for free. Just my two cents.

If it wasn´t for the CPU problems, it would probably be the most useful percussion VST out there IMHO. Such potential.
As the developer of Stacker I'd be interested to know a bit more about the CPU issues. It's not something I've seen on the Mac version. Does this mostly affect the Windows version?
I had this problem on mac, but it was so long ago I can't remember the specifics.

Sad to hear it is discontinued. Definitely its own thing going on in plugin land, and combines many features in one GUI that can be timeconsuming to do by hand in DAWs or samplers.

Deserves to be picked up and continued.

Hope Sample Magic can find an agreement with the coders.

Sample Magic just announced they are discontinuing all plugins, including Klip (Stacker's supposed replacement), Boost/Pro, MagicAB etc.

I think they're also behind Audiaire Zone? Will that continue?!
Good I've hold back with buying any more stuff from them after Stacker.

I can guarantee that Klip is absolutely not about to be discontinued. The developer, Matt Fudge, can be addressed at matt@samplemagic.com and it is fully supported in every possible way. If you've ever had any support requests or technical queries, I trust you will know they are dealt with as a matter of priority either by Matt himself, or myself personally. As always, feel free to reach me with any concerns sharooz@samplemagic.com.

i'm glad i didn't buy anything from them even though it was tempting sometimes.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

Lol, less than a year from when I asked if they could do exactly that.

Sad to see this happening. But in a way understandable - they do sample libraries really well. And sounds is a totally different world than plugins, that you need to keep updated all the time. Probably they weren't prepared for all the extra work that came with plugins.

Pisses me off that I'm an owner of both Stacker and Klip, yet didn't receive a mail for this, and I'm subscribed to email send-outs.

I'm NEVER buying a Plug-in from Sample Magic EVER again.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

This is something that could stop people from buying Zone the way you put it. I would be sure about something like that before posting.

Look at Sharooz avatar one page back, also he posts in the Zone thread. I'm not saying definite things here, but think for yourself.
