Hello Guys,
I'm building a new version of the free SFZ Designer http://mildon.me/sfzdesigner
The main difference would be a grid layout (vs. one piano roll per region) and a way to import SFZ.
Many users have already requested for MIDI/playback support, but I'm not sure I can do this at the moment. It would be easier for me to build a dedicated SFZ player (from my still-beta ZPX sample player) that could integrate with the editor, but it's not a priority for me right now (but of course do say if you think it should be).
I'd appreciate some suggestions and ideas. And if you've used SFZ Designer before, I'd love to hear about your experience with the software.
Thanks!

Yes, this would be most interesting!mildonm wrote: Tue Apr 30, 2019 6:21 am It would be easier for me to build a dedicated SFZ player (from my still-beta ZPX sample player)
Because there are only a few (exactly: one!) player which can play
sfzs of "sfz 2+"-standard. But: Building a decent sfz-player with
these properties will be very challenging!

I don't know how this could be implemented, but some kind of a view of which sounds are off_by which other sounds would be very useful to me. When doing things like multi-mic hi-hats, or realistic guitar string polyphony, this gets difficult to keep track of IME.
