P0ss3ss0r is a new free VST effect with a unique filter algorithm. One signal gets possessed and controlled by another, voodoo style. It was made to update that T-Pain-Cher-Kraftwerk-Robot-Daft-Punk-Vocoder sound but you can do much more with it.

* Super easy to use
* Sounds awesome
* Endless possibilities
* Almost totally untested

The default setting is yr basic spectral morph, so turn up the resonance to put some life into that signal. If the filter blows up, which it will, trim the input levels.

What they say:

"This plugin is absolutely one thing I have tried to find. It is truly amazing."

@st3pan0va, you have to put milk in your coffee on your blog, or put milk on the letters in the coffee. Its impossible to read...

I guess there is no Mac version... :(

Post

OK, now available in 64- and 32-bit versions.

Sorry about that. I managed to upload a totally wrong (not even really working properly) old file. Note to self - version control - you should try it. Let me know if something's still not working!

Mcbpete, TL, TCC - thanks for all the reminders abut Sp3ctr3. Long memories you folk have, or maybe your granpa used to tell you horror stories about all the CPU cycles it ate. The code is maybe on a CD-R somewhere, if I can find the right CD-R and something that reads CD-Rs it should be possible, I guess on modern machines it will run just fine.

What happened was, I switched to Linux, in 2008 or something, and that was it for VSTs and me. But I just got given an old Windows10 laptop, and a couple of days off, both at once, so here I am.

Tj Shredder - I fixed the background! I can't fix the Mac version, got no Mac and no idea how to do it. But there'll be an LV2 with code at some point.

*crosses fingers for your CDr hunt !*

P.s. Don't know if it's intentional or not but I love the 'default' corporate wordpress look of the site, adds a bit of cheekiness to the content !
