In all seriousness it gives more ability to make synth sound on guitar. Running a Audiority fuzz face into it then A4 then Modnetic delay and wow.

Oh and if this thing had some mid side adjust EQ, gain some FX parameters assigned to side could be monster

Neat idea, it never even occurred to me you could use it live.acousticglue wrote: Fri May 03, 2019 9:15 am In all seriousness it gives more ability to make synth sound on guitar. Running a Audiority fuzz face into it then A4 then Modnetic delay and wow.
Yes I hear ya, I usually drop an EQ and a limiter onto each input channel ... but the free FX out there are so good, there's no point in me trying to do that part of it better, I can'tacousticglue wrote: Fri May 03, 2019 9:15 am Oh and if this thing had some mid side adjust EQ, gain some FX parameters assigned to side could be monster

Hi folks, thanks for the reminders
I looked and I found a genuine antique CD-R with all my old DSP code on it. So for now here is a basic 64-bit version of Sp3ctr3, no GUI, just in case anyone wants to play with it.On that same CD I found a rough version of Sp3ctr3 II, with two signal paths and modulation, that wasn't possible with the hardware back then. Now it's easy, so I'm gonna finish it, maybe
Also some modules (wave loader, analysis, modulators) for a synth that looks... weird, not sure if the principle can be made to work at all. Will find out.

Also I added a GUI and level controls to the 64-bit build of P0ss3ss0r, you can try it here if I uploaded the right file this time. I'm going to edit the first post now too.
Thanks to everyone who tried it! And to everyone who said it needed a better GUI and level controls
yes you were right.

Yes! I made it cos I needed it, and I use Ardour on Ubuntu, so there's an lv2 already. I'm not on github though so just have to figure a foss-friendly way to package it. Give me a few days.

OK find sources at github.com/St3pan0va/p0ss3ss0r.lv2.
Or you can grab the lv2 bundle here (link expires in 21 days).
No GUI but more audio options than the VST: mix from vocoder (0) to morph (1), switch between two window sizes. To do: report latency to host.
N.B.: Use L input as carrier and R as modulator if you want the vocoder effect.
