Very exciting.

I've been back into Uno full-time for the last few weeks and it keeps going from strength to strength. I use a Yamaha AG06 mixer as my audio I/O device and running Uno through it's built-in amp sim gives brilliant results. Really hard, really tough sounds that punch through a mix like you wouldn't believe. Even the Pulse 2 can't cut through a mix the way Uno does, it's very addictive.

Whatever it is, I hope that it will work with win7, and also that
the UNO firmware updater and editor will be made for win7.
I've mentioned this to support a couple of times.
I doubt it would be hard to pull off.

As for knobs, can the UNO knobs be safely/gently removed?
Having alternate knobs that were either or both
taller and skinnier could help with live usage,
with a few of the most often tweeked knobs
getting swapped out more more efficient sizes.
Is there a spec for the pin the knobs are mounted on?
Cheers

They're just normal rotary potentiometers, any knob should fit them. The standard ones come off easily enough and you can buy all kinds of cool knobs for next to nothing from alibaba.com. I've got a box of knobs I bought for my Minilogue/Monologue that all fit OK. I kind of like the standard ones, though, it's easy to see the knob position.

BTW, only crazy people are still on Win7, it's horrible.

your sarcasm knows no bounds

Don't know if I'd assume it was sarcastic when followed by more praise about UNO Synth. BONES is a very active user of UNO Synth, including in live performances if I'm following correctly. Edit - perhaps only those with "bone" in their monicker may be fully excited, as Bonedo who seem well-respected picked up quickly on the upcoming product. On that note, they'll surely cover it during Superbooth.

With regard to Win 7 I won't comment on its quality as I feel that's negated by the fact that it is nearing true end of life (just over 8 months left to when even security updates will cease), so it isn't likely to have too much more developed directly for it going forward.

you showed a pic of two knobs
bones said "very exciting"

sarcasm seemed a logical conclusion

Did you not see the other photo, and my mention about "First was the knobs photo but that's not a lot to go on" and that the breadboard circuit prototypes would be "more telling" (followed by said photo of the breadboard)?

Sorry if my logical conclusion was that you noticed both photos :)

BONES is an adult, though, and can speak for himself [edit - and if he was sarcastic about the knobs or otherwise, I deserved it :) ]. Hope I clarified enough for you, though, so you can check out the other photos and the upcoming PCB.

There's also good conversation and verified non-sarcastic excitement over at the Reddit post I had linked above for those interested. Nice community at r/synthesizers over there.

questionable.
"I was wondering if you'd like to try Magic Mushrooms"
"Oooh I dont know. Sounds a bit scary"
"It's not scary. You just lose a sense of who you are and all that sh!t"

Sorry Peter but Dave knows me better than you do. I don't get excited about anything until I can hear what it does. You may recall that I was very skeptical about Uno until I got to hear it for myself.

We haven't played live for a while so I've not yet had a chance to use it on stage but that's what we are working towards at the moment. Here's a sample of where we're at, if you're interested. The drums are from Orion but all the synths are hardware - Pulse 2, Uno, Skulpt and MicroMonsta. See if you can guess correctly which is which.
