When using the LP filter in EXS24, even when filter is fully open (100%) it effect the sound making it sound not as bright as the original sound. I don't like this! I want a velocity filter without this! Any tip are welcome!

So is there any filter in Logic which can be used as "Filter cut off to Velocity" outside EXS24? Or can you suggest any other good plug in for this. Thanks!

Do you, by chance, have keyfollow influencing the filter frequency? That could explain it. I'm not familiar with the filter in EXS24 though, maybe it indeed dampens the higher frequencies by default, like some other filters do too.

Alchemy doesn’t have filter cutoff to velocity? I thought it did but, I’m not sitting in front of my computer right now. I know Logic seems to push Alchemy rather than update EXS24 but, getting your samples into Alchemy seems a bit clumsy to me.

It really is time. They really need to update ESX24, ES2, and Ultrabeat. It must be more difficult than we think, or they already would have done it. Alchemy needs to be better integrated into Logic’s menu structure at least, if Apple wants to push users down that path.
