tonight I debut a new internet broadcast dedicated to the aforementioned styles of music. if you have any liking to such and are in the general vicinity of a machine capable of streaming audio from the internet tonight at 10PM EDT (3AM GMT, 7PM PDT), then I invite you to listen in.

hifi stream: http://shoutcast.ampcast.com:8000/hifi
lofi stream: http://shoutcast.ampcast.com:8000/lofi

and as a warning, if you have children with sensitive ears you may want to use headphones or send them off to play in the other room, as I have been known to let slip a few "dirty words".

well I've just been informed that the person who hosts the show prior to mine has become ill, so I'll be filling in for him early. so, for tonight only, I'll be starting at 8PM EDT (1AM GMT, 5PM PDT).

I don't have a playlist established as of yet. my motto is "fly by the seat of your pants". after the show I'll post a playlist, though.

Curious about this too but I'm on a dialup at home so I won't be listening, but I would be, if I could. Post a playlist though.

the lofi stream is geared toward dialup connections. its 24kbps mono (like standard lofi m3u streams). if you have a stable 56k connection, you shouldn't have any problems tuning in.
