Hi, i use fl studio which blows up all the time but is lots of fun. Nothing beats playlist for speed. My brother uses cubase and you would need hands like a praying mantis to use it's midi editor. But the all time worst is trying to connect a midi controller to DP. It would be easier to pilot a space craft. So, my friend's DP gets the worst. molly

Hi, i forgot to say that my brother's cubase never blows up. But think praying mantis.Molly

Sigh. This thread is flamewar bait.

I didn’t vote. I give into hate plenty. It’s the most incited emotion in my life at the moment, what with how much I hate computers and my living situation...

But I realized I don’t hate any of these. I just don’t like some of them and never use others. I almost wanted to choose Sonar, but, since it really got me started on “real music production”, I think that I don’t hate it so much as simply finding it to be an active part of a lifestyle I’ve abandoned for finding it to be intolerable to me (the Windows ecosystem).

Lifes too short to hate a DAW, just move on and find one you like.

I'm thinking of trying out Negative Emotion. It seems to be quite popular.
