hi !
i think for me even project sam is already too much as a non-classical player and should be enough for me if i want pro sounding classic libraries. i also got a lot of classical xps for romplers/synths.
spitfire audio seems overall pretty expensive? so i wonder what libraries are recommendable which are kinda unique? trailer hits, risers etc. you got already so many heavyocities etc. which i also got already.
thx

I like the LCO Strings a lot - might be too close to classical for you, though. Along similar lines they also have the Alternative Solo Strings. If you want to get wilder there's all the Evo stuff, including the recent second LCO library. There's also the BT Phobos, which I don't get the idea of, but it does seem very different.

they have things like the Glass and Steel, and Scraped Percussion. Titanium Euphones.
I bought Cimbalom yesterday for 29 bucks. I would love the Bernard Herrmann Toolbox (to the topic, it isn't exactly standard fare) but it's a lot of bread.

eDNA Earth is kind of a beast too. I've been eyeing BHT for a long time now Jancivil but I haven't pulled the trigger yet!

'Swarms and Evos' are still orchestral strings. pretty avant-garde use case, tho
I would love a couple of the Evos if they made the changes automatable. Without that it would mean a resources-heavy use of multiple instances for me to really get behind it.
They also need to be writing manuals for these things.

They have done for many now, most that I looked at this week and you can download them from the individual product pages.

thx a lot guys! well i checked 2 ALBION videos and wow i really like what i hear but cannot decide which to get maybe out of these 5 and if they would add something to project sam libraries i got, i think they are more overkill for a non-orchestral guy.
then i checked out the EDNA synth stuff, the bt one and the other earth library, well nice but it seems they are like many cinematic libraries, soundsamples with the possibility to blend together in a rack (kontakt) with FX options in a pricey package. with omnisphere and many kontakt libraries from heavyocity i think this is also nothing new but different sound samples. something like EDNA Earth with the possibility to load own samples would be cool! this way it is only a rompler/sample collection and then a new library comes out with a new name new sound samples and the next etc,. but the audio demos are awesome!
