Picked it up for 27€. it was 47€ in my upgrades. that referral code posted can only be used during the first ever account purchase, so for me it didnt work. But I saw I could use 20 "points" making it 27€. I don't know what all the brinksmanship is in this thread about your upgrade prices, but whatever, hope this helps clarify. I have MPS and MDrummer but I don't think MDrummer counted towards anything (only MPS from what I can tell compared to others offers. I do not have MXXX, only a handful of separate effects and creative bundle).
I really dont use my melda products because of the GUI and workflow that dont gel with me. But for 27€ I am ok with upgrading because I think it will be a better implementation of MPS so I stand to use that more as MSF instead of selling it and taking a dive on the unreasonably high transfer fees.
Please. Buy my Melda Creative Bundle. Please...

am i the only cheap ass guy here who is running MSF in MXXX1
but i got to say vojtech has truly has done some magic in the making of his vst. the usage of my preset (its a mixture of the new string synth with the shit ton of super saws and the planet preset in mturboreverb) it equal to the standalone vst version.

This is indeed quite intriguing piece of software. However, there are some strange omissions. I'll send these as feature requests to Vojtech per email but I'd like to ask here if anybody knows how to counter these with the current feature set.
Here's the first one I've found:
How do I modulate the Envelope modulators output amount with modwheel?
Example: I have a filter as target for the envelope. I want 100% modwheel to mean that the envelope stops modulating the filter. I haven't been able to figure out this rather simple thing. I can multiply the Envelope output but only in one direction. There is no multiply inverse function.. thus one can increase the amount the envelope modulates a target but not decrease. There is of course add and subtract but those do not do the required function as they only relate to the overall depth of the overall modulation in a slot.
Possible solutions (up for discussion): First of all, an inverse multiplication (multiply with negative values) should definitely be available.. but another easier to grasp method, when dealing with multiple targets at the same time, would be to have each modulator have their own 0 to 100% (or even better, 0 to 200%) output amount. Then one would have extremely easy and fine control over modulator output amounts in one go. This would cut down a lot on tedious editing of multiple target modulation slots when a modulation source goes to many targets.
Ideas? Comments?
EDIT: Duh. I figured it out. You can use the 'MAX' or ' MIN' functions and assign it to the modwheel. This lets you control the amount of modulation. Still, my feature request for each modulator having their own output level/depth still stands. It would be a real workload saver.
EDIT2: Nope. Min and Max are the mathematical functions as one would expect.. thus these are NOT a solution. It's a drastic work around but one ends up with "stepping" if these are used. So yeah, the only way I can see a solution is to give us full bipolar range for all modulation sources, no matter if they are in the first slot or not (or just a -mult function)

So it runs from within MXXX? I think the upgrade cost will be almost free for you if you already own MXXX. I got it for $80 after a referral code and I think this is the best synth purchase of the year so far for me.Apratim wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 4:03 pm am i the only cheap ass guy here who is running MSF in MXXX1

I agree with this and I mentioned it in Melda's forum not too long ago. This is not u-he's Diva for instance. Or even Zebra2. This said, I haven't spent much time with MSF yet, but I can see (or sense ?) that the capabilities can include some warmness component. And there's always the possibility to add saturation in the FX dept. So far though, MPS, the other synth, wasn't used so much as the coldness, the "thin" sound (even with deep basses) is not that much enticing, for me at least. As counter examples, Tone2's ElectraX got my attention pretty quickly, same with SB's Factory and RP's Blue2.wagtunes wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 2:28 amWell, as an owner of MPowerSynth, Melda's sound is one of extreme digitalness. Now there's a place for that kind of sound but for most applications, I find their synth way too harsh and cold. I don't expect MSF to be any different based on what I heard.

There are some comments about the UI. Please remember that there are several options, like this Metro style that I tend to like for the brightness and colours:

They already do. Per-voice mods all have depth at the top of the panel (see my Try this post).bmanic wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 4:57 pm …

The regular Mods (below the meters) have a depth knob that can be targeted by a MP:

Probably other solutions as well…endless, y'know?:)

Weird problem : as soon as i use one of the build-in fx in MB mode, the playback is seriously delayed. Anyone else having this ?
Plus : when changing waveform in the oscillator section, all unison settings are gone. Couldn't find a way to lock these settings.
And another thing, when you want to draw your own envelopes you have to open another window inside the envelope window. Why not just in the envelope window itself ? Or is there some other way to do this quicker ?
Undo would be nice to have too. In stead of all those 'randomize' buttons. Because accidents happen.
