Sounds, well, fantastic! And looks so amazing!![]()
Analog Dreams, Hybrid Keys and Ethereal Earth are available in full Kontakt 6, but they have now made them separately available. The prices look a bit funny at $41.18, though.![]()
I personally like the audio demos of all, especially Modular Icons and Hybrid Keys.
What's the different from komplete start?

No demo. But you can download the free Komplete Start to get the taste of the instruments and their sounds: https://www.native-instruments.com/en/p ... ete-start/
I am disheartened to know that some people don't know about the free Komplete Start.
At this point I somehow feel the need to mention that I am in no way affiliated with NI. Just love their products and happy to help with what I know about them.

So, it seems there was a glitch in the ($41.18) price yesterday for the first few hours. Now all the Play Series instruments are $49!

Its because they do them WELL. Native Instruments dont just raw oscillator, but instead make a proper usable preset, because sampled waveforms are as good as trying to make a video file from a picture (or even gif)Burillo wrote: Thu May 09, 2019 4:14 pm i love how sample-based synths like Syntronik and UVI libraries get shit on, but when NI does the same, it's great.

bought it with an ecoupon. Sounds good. Just can't figure out how to modulate anything to the sequencer. TRK 01 is much better IMO regarding modulation

V’got the feeling that vurt is about to ask if TRK 01 does require Reaktor.vertibration wrote: Sat May 11, 2019 12:20 am bought it with an ecoupon. Sounds good. Just can't figure out how to modulate anything to the sequencer. TRK 01 is much better IMO regarding modulation

So these aren't lite versions? Confusing, both are called Play Series.
However "Note: This instrument is also included in the full version of KONTAKT 6."
suggests it's a full version.

The Komplete Start versions are a "Play Series Selection." It's just a subset of the presets, and nothing from Modular Icons. It's very much like the Maschine selection, which, if you have Maschine is worth the install.jancivil wrote: Sat May 11, 2019 3:21 am So these aren't lite versions? Ok, makes sense.
Anyway, Ethereal Earth sounds lovely, very rich and creamy at base, and a nice interface for control which can take you a ways with just a couple, three controls.
