David, are you saying that when the final product is released, those of us who want to dive into this thing completely (as is now) won't be able to?

No, no—not at all, sorry if it sounded like that!wagtunes wrote: Sat May 11, 2019 2:20 am David, are you saying that when the final product is released, those of us who want to dive into this thing completely (as is now) won't be able to?
I'm certain that we sale-buyers are all Full-Version Owners "for Life"! (Jeez, I HOPE so!!)
Just that after the current sale and the future beta stages are over, only then will there be those two other, no Edit-Mode versions, complete with all the Factory-approved Instruments on EZ Screens we'll all get—and ONLY THEN will we, and all the (presumably many more) new buyers of the simpler versions, finally get to see and evaluate this more User-friendly vision that Vojtech is aiming for, and hoping to get from the Edit-mode masters currently at work. Which could be some of us, too, of course.
I'm hoping that we current beta-users and owners WILL get to see lots more example Devices as we wait to see what the ver. 1 plugins are like. And can comment on them. It would certainly make Approvable Instrument making more of a sure thing! But I've no idea about that… as I'm not in ANY way an "official" Melda mouthpiece or insider!
Just a happy, recent, currently obsessed fan:)

Well, I'd be very disappointed if after the official non beta version came out that my "kitchen sink" version suddenly vanished from my plugins list and was replaced by a stripped down version. Yes, I'm one of those crazy people who likes programming stupidly complex synths.David wrote: Sat May 11, 2019 2:48 amNo, no—not at all, sorry if it sounded like that!wagtunes wrote: Sat May 11, 2019 2:20 am David, are you saying that when the final product is released, those of us who want to dive into this thing completely (as is now) won't be able to?

I have just purchased the full version haven't I? I didn't realise there will be multiple versions.wagtunes wrote: Sat May 11, 2019 3:05 amWell, I'd be very disappointed if after the official non beta version came out that my "kitchen sink" version suddenly vanished from my plugins list and was replaced by a stripped down version. Getting a lot of hard crashes here when changing parameters in Ableton Live 10.06 on Mac.
I know it’s beta so I’m expecting some bumps until release. I like in though, it’s the most approachable Melda product I’ve tried and think it will be immense. Thanks Melda folks, an unexpected surprise.

i agree with gentleclockdivider that the fm section is... mwah... but it is beta.. fiddling around, with non standard, modular approuch, i could get, not with the fm, already get very good sounds.
it is a beast. to be tamed. i like that. work needs to be done, on the side of meldaproduction, but i fully trust that. it is a beta..
and on my side. i do not have problems with the workflow, in the sense, i do not like, but i must still learn it, but already, navigating is quite easy. i am not that used to meldaproduction, only 2 effects and one analyzer. so...

In REAPER the multi output works, but only at 1x oversampling.HSum wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 11:29 pm Anyone managed to get the 6out version to work? It only produced a stereo out here.
Bringing oversampling beyond 1x mutes all the additional outputs.
It took me like 2 hours to understand wtf was happening.
I wrote a couple messages about this in the melda subforum, but I'm not sure the dev saw them.
Maybe I'm wrong, but it looks like you're not using the multi-output version.mevla wrote: Sat May 11, 2019 12:08 am With MDrummer16Outs Bitwig automatically shows that there are more outputs:

With MSF, not so:

There are two separate plugins, "MSoundFactory" and "MSoundFactory6out".
Also keep in mind, as I wrote above, the oversampling thing.
