Hi, I've got Regroover. Tried some wavs from the internet but not working. So, i thought copyrighted.
So, i got some royalty-free wavs from the internet, not working.Used some wavs from my Akai mini 2 downloads (Futuredance (i think)). They worked. Why do some wavs and others don't? And where do i get wavs that work in Regroover? Mostly, hopefully for free. Molly

Not familiar with the Regroover but a quick search on their website gives this.
"To start using Regroover you need to import an audio clip. Regroover supports .wav, .aif/.aiff and .caf files of standard sample rates, with a maximum duration of 30 seconds."
So if your samples are over 30 seconds they will not work, if they are less I would reach out to accusonos and see if they can help.

Hi Biodiode, Thanks for your comment. I didn't know that there is a 30 sec limit. When i loaded a 3 sec 24 bit wav from Oceon Samples (i got on bedroomblog) it wouldn't load. When i dragon to Regroover my own sample 3 sec 32 bit it loads. I think there's something about wavs i don't understand.
Thanks for the link to your website, i liked it. I noticed you use cubase. When i was in 3rd grade i got my brother's old laptop (it had 2 daws cubase and fruityloops), my brother said he'd teach me one.I picked fruity loops because i like fruit and cubase sounds like math.

Me too, I have Regroover Essential. It's pretty great, I use it all the time for loop mangling and experimental sound design. It's got a nice AI system for separating sound frequencies and it's fully controllable with MIDI keys. The full version allows you to actually make sample packs out of your loops.luxgud wrote: Fri May 10, 2019 6:32 pm I got a free copy of this when I bought something from vst boutique recently.
I haven't downloaded it yet, is it any good ?

This is strange since 24-bit wav won't load and 32-bit will load as you mentioned.
Maybe there's a problem with sample rate (doesn't like loading 48000hz, 96000hz etc., strange as well in our modern age).
If this is the case, Wavs can be compressed. I'm not familiar with Regroover but if a Wav is too small in size compared to it's length, it's probably an ogg inside - compressed.
