You can't edit preview, but when click "attack",you can edit the attack(which includes decay), and release. The sustain can be edited using the Tremolo, which is basically an LFO(that is also highly editable. Use the preview to check to see if it is set up the way you want.
Thanks Mr. Chandler :)
Stumbled over it and had edited my post.

Next question:
I can modulate the filter cutoff by selecting envs, lfos and sequencers.
Chose that sequencer but cannot directly open it like envs or lfos.
Where do I find it? It says sequencer 1 and sequencer 2. Where do I open it?
No problem.

About the sequencers, "sequence 1&2" are not sequencers, they are something different which is explained above, but they have nothing to do with step sequencing.

The good news is step sequencing is powerful and easy. Its located inside any LFO. Inside an LFO look above the wave for a knob called STEP. Turn in all the way to the right. It should now look like a step sequencer. Click the button below STEP that says EDIT and from there you can change the sequence in a number of ways.

I know its a bit confusing having sequence 1&2 in there, but just remember that real sequencer is actually in the LFOs.

(You've got some "Factory" Devices that aren't Editable? Where'd you find them?) Just be sure to select Editable in Save Device dialog.
I was basing this on what the manual says:
Devices are factory specified and cannot be modified directly by users, however you can still make your own and store them as normal presets. To do so, configure the plugin as desired, then define each multiparameter and specify its name in its settings. You can then switch to the easy screen and check the user interface that you have created. Once you are satisfied with it, save it as a normal preset while you are on the easy screen. Although your preset will not be displayed or selected in the list of available devices, the functionality will be exactly the same. For more information about multiparameters and devices please check the online video tutorials.
But that's evidently not true, unless they intend to remove the ability to save your own devices.

I think MSF really shines for cold digital stuff ( which isn't necessarily a bad thing ) ,but it really has it's place .
For analogue emulation , looks elsewhere
I've been creating pads and sequences like crazy for the last 24 hours >
Still trying to wrap my head around the feedback loops for creating shimmer delays ( pitch shifter --->reverb or delay --->back into pitch shifter ) , I used to know but totally forgot how to set it up ..
It's the melda way :)
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

Exactly… That text seems to have been written before MSF took its current (and of course still not "final") shape, as it appears to be describing a product that doesn't match the projected versions outlined in the latest available doc from the dev on MSF plans.

The doc is here, with relevant portions copied below:
https://www.meldaproduction.com/doc/MSoundFactory

…and as you can see, currently there's no intended version that would allow access to the Edit mode but also limit users from full access to Device mode. There's only the full, unlimited version (which is all that's currently available, either for purchase or beta testing), or two player version with no Edit mode access whatsoever.

More to the point, I guess that once the idea was that all the Factory devices would be locked. But now there's the Editable option, leaving it up to the Instrument designer/seller to choose, with Editable soon to be the default. Hopefully it stays this way!

No wonder you're confused!
Our goal is to make life easy for the third party sound designers, who need quick development, reasonable reselling conditions, easy deployment and simple workflow for target users. In any case, first there will be a full MSoundFactory licence, which will come with everything that the designers need to create their third party instruments, to export them as an archive for the users to download, and to create some sort of licencing mechanism to generate serial keys for copy protection. The price is not settled yet.

Currently this is the planned licence model for 3rd parties, who want to sell their instruments: No royalties for the third parties and a completely free version MSoundFactoryPlayer, which would allow access only to 3rd party instruments and some default 1-3 sounds, no edit screen. It would serve us to make the instrument widespread and 3rd parties can use it to easily sell their instruments with no cost for them nor the target user. It would probably contain some kind of banner asking for upgrading, similar to our free plugins. Then there would be MSoundFactoryLE, priced at say 99 EUR, just to make it a no brainer. So:
- MSoundFactoryPlayer - free, 3rd party instruments, 3 factory instruments, no edit screen
- MSoundFactoryLE - say 99 EUR, 3rd party instruments, all factory instruments, no edit screen
- MSoundFactory - more expensive, 3rd party instruments, all factory instruments, edit screen
We also want the users to be able to trial the instruments (unless the designer specifically forbids that). We believe that the inability to try an instrument before purchase is a major limitation that lowers the sales for most Kontakt instruments. Some sounds designers do offer a selection of instruments from their libraries for just such a purpose.

oscillator > distortion using just devastator setting > filter gets me to a happy starting place for getting a warmer, more analog sound out of it.

Not true at all and it doesn't matter how Many hours you have been using it, better admit you don't know how to set it up to sound analog with the customizable options, generators and effects available which makes all of that possible.

With all respect.

Dude I don't admit anything , I know perfectly how to set stuff up in melda , occasionally missing the obvious button ..true to that.
If you know one synth , you know them all ,and personally I think melda MSF is verry straightforward for setting up modulation etc..I have absolutely no problem with that.
And don't try to lecture me ... :tu: ... been into this game long enough
Putting a distortion (per voice or global ) doesn't necesarilly make it sound warmer ...because it adds more harmonics
It's just a matter of taste , and imho the filters are the weakest point in melda...

Soul calibrating ..frequencies

I think, with good programming skills, it can sound good enough to fool many people in a blind test.
But it's also about workflow and UX. I'm absolutely loving and defending MFS, but for the "analog/retro" sounds I'm simply loading up one of my analog emulations.

Making MSF sound analog is like trying to make Pee Wee Herman look like Angelina Joli

I understand, but I didn't do mention of distortion necessarily, everyone has different methods, for instance, If I'm looking for that high quality analog sound, I would use saturation, convolution, put a little bit of randomization in key parts of the oscillators and more stuffs here and there, 4x or something upsample, but really isn't that difficult, I really have very good results just to be honest, that's why I thought your remarks are your personal experience and I respect that.

Also the reason for my response is that too many, and I say too many people here loves to talk loud about the long times they have and experience ext, ext. But really time doesn't necessarily adds wisdom always, there are bad decisions, people who decide not to learn or not accept their mistakes and therefore they will continue thinking that many experiences = wisdom and knowledge, is not really the case always.

Well, once a fully fledged multisampler is added anybody and his dog can import analog synth samples, then MFS will be able to sound analog.
