Do you know a good Hardware Step Sequencer (for Reaper)?

Hi guys

I am looking for a kind of device which allows me to do drums in this easy and quick way (for rock):


Now I am doing it through this device using REAPER as a DAW:


The process, it is explained in this video.



But I would a like an easier way to do it, do you know a way to do it? As I say before, I will use it for rock music.

I don't think you'll find anything easier than that. Akai MPC, Maschine or Push are just a bit more complex. And expensive.

Can you explain how do you imagine 'easier' than NanoPad2 ?

I thought something where you can place your pattern using your fingers and export it to the PC. Like the FL studio, but in hardware

I sometimes use my beatstep pro with Battery etc. in Reaper. Can quickly step sequence a pattern and if I like it just record it in as a MIDI item. It can use the DAW clock so the sync isn't too bad.

Someone ought too make a cheap one of those in hardware.

You could use an i-pad or android software sequencer and export the pattern.

I thought Reaper had some step sequencer JS plugin.

Or... you could try Studio One.
