And I also use an Emu APS as soundfont player (with onboard effects) in my other C2D DAW

yeah im still using mine with the AN1x card onboard too!!
it crashes my comp sometimes but I think thats the midi loopback stuff. Does anyone know the best way to set it so you can use XGedit & An1x Edit. It's always kinda confused me. I used Midi Ox. Anyone have it running stable?!

Also... Xgedit has suddenly gone all black so i cant see the green bits (where patch names are etc). I think it must have been a windows update that changed it... annoying.

I luv the smell of a zombie thread in the morning.

I'm now using three SW1000XGs; each one has a PLG-150 piggybacking (AN/DX/DR).

They're installed in three separate Win98 boxes alongside two Korg Oasys PCI cards and an old Pulsar.

Mind you I'd probably had gone that route if I hadn't invested in the plugstation

The plugstation is rarer than hens' proverbials.

I've had an eBay "alert" setup to announce a listing, should it ever happen, for more than a decade. It appears no one wants to sell, ever...

Sw1000 still going strong here (Win 10 32 bit), along with the precious plugstation

Anyone here still got / use a Yamaha sw1000xg ?
