Years ago there were always a handful of tracks that I'd give a 2 to. I don't really hear anything below a 3-5. Some styles I'm not as fond of, and I try not to let that influence the vote, but really everyone has elevated their game...so many 4s and 5s.

Voted. Really interesting month - Surge is a beast that brought out the best, and lots of creative work. Was hard to grade with so much variety. So thanks to everyone for bringing so much fun to the table!

Wow, I'd better stick to easy jazz-funk - I think all my victories are in that realm!
Congrats to fellow winners, and thanks so much for all the votes! Excited to win with Surge - I like this synth a lot. And I think the tight scoreboard reveals that there were a lot of brilliant tracks this month - so this actually feels pretty smashing!
I'll pass on my prize. No issue with Spotify use if it's still a thing - use it any way you like.
(Mr. Karolus' track has the same title as mine in the result list - someone should probably ensure that our tracks haven't been confused. I don't want to bring out the champagne prematurely!)
