What are people opinions on Samplit (thinking of sampling a guitar I have) & is there a better alternative ...?

Samplit looks good in the short demo video I saw, but I've seen little else in terms of reviews and other tutorial videos.

Can anybody who owns Samplit give me their opinion?
I am looking to sample a guitar I have here, several velocity layers, a couple of mic positions etc.
Looking to eventually create a Kontakt instrument (v5).

I like the look of the auto-loop functionality (although I am skeptical about what kind of job it could do.) I read another recent post that said Samplit crashed sometimes.

Price of Samplit is $139. Just wondering if they have sales too.

is. imo
i use FL studio and this stuff is built in there with its audio editor and sliceX plugin...
