Hey,
Does anyone have experience integrating the maschine hardware with cubase? I was wondering if there were any midi-mappings that were either available for purchase or were put out free that would already have a great workflow.
Same question goes for groove agent.
And if not, what are some alternative drum pad controllers that work well with cubase, groove agent?
Thanks,
Addi

Well, generally it might help to know this: you can take an established drum map from an instrument (Groove Agent) via the Instrument Track per se.
and to understand that the vast majority of drum kit mapping is based in General MIDI, note the result here.
So you can create templates and ensure basic correspondence/compatibility from this.

and once you have more descriptive names, these appear from the "Create drum map from instrument'.
However this initial map is not editable, you save a version and load it, and that map may be edited.
