Virtual ANS ... not a vst, but cool standalone noise creator. I like GliKo too. They're both free. Most of the Dubmachines, K-Devices, InearDisplay and Glitchmachines stuff is interesting too.

With BYOME and MXXX you can make your own unique FX.

Molekular FTW. Your sound ceases to be your sound.

And Melda's Turbo Delay and Spectral Delay can create some unexpected sounds as well.
Even if the piano player can't play, keep the party going.

There's literally a similar "what's the best creative/outsideofthebox/unique/ticklesyourballsthebest" thread every two weeks.

Use the search ffs..

Only way for you to apologize this act of... Is to put here a catpic.

why stop there? shaperbox is the shiz.

also +1 for innear/glitchmachines

they claim to have fixed it so, the fx version of soundmorphs dust is pretty outside the box.

however, my current fave is unfiltered audios byome. its currently the most outside the box audio transformation plugin that is ALSO stable and relatively low cpu for what its doing...as far as ive seen.

i mean, theres 2caudios kaleidoscope, which is pretty far out there...but its cryptic, not at all user friendly, difficult to control, and a cpu killer. of course i wasnt able to play with it much. a buddy had it on his system, and it was most of the time nearly unusable due to cpu load.

ive gotta check out shaper box.

any opinions on effectrix or Glitch2? They look identical. i have effectrix and its real cool but some of the effects arent the best quality and its not something i use all the time. Are there other effect sequencers better than those two?

ni/tim exiles "the finger" is similar in nature to glitch :)

hey guys what is a good plugin u can name

Just got Litote CM from a recent Computer Music mag and it's pretty cool to just throw it in there and create ambiences from sequences. Getting lots of use. Probably will get the full version sometime.

The new NUXX multieffect by Audiaire looks interesting - select six FX, connect parameters to sixmacros and each macro has its own sequencer lane for modulation. Think the sequencer is better than in BYOME but didn't think much of the pitchshifter and many of the FX aren't quite as esoteric as UA's little beauty.

To be honest, if you have Komplete, it's possibly better to check out Guitar Rig, tons of FX and modulation options and you can just save each one in a rack for later use. You have pretty much everything you could need in there yet a lot of folks ignore it cause they think it's only for guitars.

and yes you need Reaktor to run it

:hihi:
...which is unfortunate IMO; otherwise, it's an awesome collection of effects.

As a glitcher or just as straight up grain cloud soundscapes?
