Got an e-mail from Spitfire Audio that there were files for me to download. They seem to be something called "Kepler Demo". Seems to be a teaser going out to some people.

Yup. Two patches, a Doppler effect bass and what sounds like a super-fast processed string tremolo. WAV files and Kontakt instruments.

It's the keplest!

that's my question. If it's a demo that will expire I'm not really interested - but then I'm not sure how it could expire?

Doesn't look like it'll expire, but it's only two simple patches with one dynamic each, so it is kind of limited in that sense.

It is a teaser of a new library called Kepler Orchestra coming May 23rd.
More teasers (as usual from them) via you-tube.
Like the name suggest i guess it focus on swells and waves which are following the Kepler laws....or whatever. So far i like what i hear.
Of course i think the full library will have much more editing than the demos.
At least i already hear winds, brass and strings in the you-tube demos.
I think the demo runs also only in full Kontakt.

It seems also the demo doesn´t expire or have the 15 min time limit. Not exactly sure yet.
So i already like the 2 demo snippets a lot. Nice for a build up.....

15 min time limit applies only to something not licensed for Kontakt Player; this isn't. Nothing times out in Kontakt Full.

these sound very like the bass patches in VSL's lite version of Smart Spheres given away with VEP 7, and I expect mmore bang for my buck (at least I know what's in it) fr VSL. The full edition of that already burning a 139 dollar hole in my pocket. No Doppler that I can see tho
