Too good to be true?

Can this be?

A vocoder, compression unit, distortion unit, Filter with LFO, Phaser, and a Flanger for $100? Alesis, too. I understand that the Alesis ModFX series bombed, but this just seems a little too good to be true.

Always look at the manufacturers site, do not trust shops:

Now I must see the first stomp box that changes its colour when you twist a knob, so it must be $99 for each. Bummer, guys !!

I think it's $99 for the 'whole enchilada' guys? Roland and Alesis are putting the screws to Akai, Moog, and Zoom. They might be very 'cut down' effects all crammed into one unit - but $99 is definately probable with these guys. Hell, the effects I get alone on my Roland SP-808 (50+) are worth twice the money than the whole unit IMHO, and I do love the WHOLE unit! ($700-$800 roughly)
So this is no skin off Rolands or Alesis's back to let a handful go at $99 in one unit... But I bet it pisses off all the other manufacturers.
LET THE PRICE WARS..... BEGIN!

its not all in one unit. It sounds like it's 7 units, all in their own boxes.

Well then I admit my defeat.
I seriously thought they were going to be a all in one configurable singular 'stomp box'. I mean Dan Electro had cute little units going for $25 each last year! Good or bad - $25

So 4 in 1 for $100 - why not? Somebody's gotta put the screws to somebody soon!

When they were on sale, I got two Alesis Inekos for $70 bucks each from musiciansfriend.com. They are really top notch multi-fx units (with way more features than the similar Mod FX line) at a dirt cheap price. I would wait until the Mod FXs drops $20 or so which if they are discontinuing the line has a good chance of happening.
