?[... ,] Cubase, Samplitude, Sequoia... or just anything other than ProTools?
How many 'professionals' do you know/have seen working?
That's perception bias right there; because YOU don't 'see' it being used everywhere must mean that nobody uses it. right? While the largest part of the internet and large corporations run on Linux. What OS do you think runs most of the special effects in Hollywood. You could consider the possibility that reaper is indeed comparable to Linux in that regard as well. I bet many studios that use reaper (even in addition to protools) don't list it on their website as it is not a client magnet (but it runs somewhere close to the double track count of protools on the same hardware, so I can see the technical appeal for a big studio) .chk071 wrote: Sat May 25, 2019 12:10 pm I'm afraid Reaper shares the same fate as Linux. It's for geeks
In certain ways Bitwig is superior, same with almost every other DAW. But reaper being superior in any way, and that being appreciated by part of the professional audio community, can't possibly be trueworldfever wrote: Sun May 26, 2019 9:30 am ...about bitwig being way superiour than everything else on the market
Oh, no, we're all sorted on that one, now that we know that the professional audio community appointed you as its representative, and your word on what 'they' think of reaper must be taken as sacrosanct.crimsonwarlock wrote: Sun May 26, 2019 9:53 amBut reaper being superior in any way, and that being appreciated by part of the professional audio community, can't possibly be trueworldfever wrote: Sun May 26, 2019 9:30 am ...about bitwig being way superiour than everything else on the market![]()
Me stating some observation now somehow makes me the self-appointed representative of the professional audio community. So stating that Coca Cola is a bevaridge (also an observation) makes me the self appointed representative of Coca Colawhyterabbyt wrote: Sun May 26, 2019 10:24 amOh, no, we're all sorted on that one, now that we know that the professional audio community appointed you as its representative, and your word on what 'they' think of reaper must be taken as sacrosanct.crimsonwarlock wrote: Sun May 26, 2019 9:53 am But reaper being superior in any way, and that being appreciated by part of the professional audio community, can't possibly be true![]()
You mean when you were telling us what professionals do and why they do it without ever expressing it as an observation, especially when trying to representing it as factual because of 'interviews'?crimsonwarlock wrote: Sun May 26, 2019 10:39 am Me stating some observation now somehow makes me the self-appointed representative of the professional audio community.
No, because that's not even slighly close to what you were doing, and its a verifiable fact anyway. So stating that Coca Cola is a bevaridge (also an observation) makes me the self appointed representative of Coca Cola![]()
Well firstly, its 'whyterabbyt' not 'white rabbit', mr crysome woundlick. ( see, i can make people's monickers wrong too, aint it hilariousYou're an idiot, which is also an 'observation' and does not make me the self-appointed specialist on white rabbit (although dealing with you here on the forum for almost two decades did give me some insight).
