I have an Audio Pc for sequencing plus a 2nd P4 1.7Ghz 512mb laptop with a digidesign M-box (is this GSIF)?

Whats the spec for Giga160 (2.5 & 3)? as i want to use the laptop just for Gigastudio (it has a firewire 200Gb drive also) Can this be done? if so how do i connect my laptop to my other pc so i can sequence Giga, and is the M-box a suitable Soundcard?

thanks for any help..

I was just reading "How midi work" from Alexander University, it list at least 10 different ways to hook up 2 computers for use with Gigastudio; it all depends on what you want to do, how you plan to mix, and, of course, your budget (none of theses method seems cheap).
I would suggest reading that book before making major investments in hardware, as a setup like this is best planned carefully from the start.

FFS You're asking for the spec of Gigastudio! Couldn't you just pop along to their site and check there, or is that too much work?

You don't need a GSIF card for GS3, just a rewire client on the same machine. You could even do away completely with the soundcard and use Giga Teleport http://www.fx-max.com/gt/ - works with GS2 as well.
