The problem was some residual Hive 1 files (as Urs suggested)! Now runs nicely in Ableton 10.1.

so Hive 2 has the same vst ID as Hive 1 then?

Yes. It's fully backwards compatible, Hive 2 simply replaces Hive 1.

Is anyone else having problems buying the update? Share-it keeps rejecting my order, using both PayPal and a credit card. Never had an issue buying from them before.

Yes, same here - I just tried right now with different types of payment on two separate order numbers and it would not complete the payment. Hopefully an easy fix...

It seems that you are not running Hive 2. If you were, a pop-up would ask for your name and serial. I would reinstall and note where Hive 2 is being installed.

Just want to say thanks for updating my primary synth Hive to 2.0 and considering the ideas I put forward, with a solution to extending the LFO functionality in particular with extended waveform shaping functions. Maybe there'll be a 2.5 version with a 32 or 64 step arpeggiator added in a future update...like your competition

Not really had much time to have a proper dig into it, too busy designing a new faceplate for it, which is gonna look... well a bit different...

Me three. First payment was rejected after 30 mins or so but the second time it went through instantly (Visa). All sorted here now, anyway. Have faith.

This is a vast improvement on Hive 1 in terms of feel imho, and I love the modulation system. I'm a little intimidated by scripting but not too much, which is a nice level of complexity. Pretty tired right now, but I will say thanks Team u-he
