I just heard along the grapevine that there is 100 free sounds for ST2 XL registered users, and I'm looking forward to grabbing them as soon as I get my ST2 XL that I've just ordered. I've also got USB/Soundscan vol 28 - acoustic & synth choirs that I'll be importing into ST2XL too, the AKAI support for S1000 is a real bonus!
Are these 100 sounds still available for download for registered users of ST2XL?

Those 100 sounds, they will add nicely to my already big collection.
I've got Charlie, Plugsound 2 and 5, GPO, EWQLSO Silver, Hypersonic and Soundscan 28...and now ST2XL! Then 100 ST2XL sounds to add to that, nice! plus neat AKAI support for my soundscan 28 choir cd...Brilliant! I doubt I'll ever need another VSTi for at least a few years. Time to *stop* buying VSTis and time to start cranking out a few tunes. I've got some good ideas so once ST2XL arrives in the post I'll post some up for you on my website.

No one ever said there was any issue with discussing promotions or a ton of other things we are discussing in the thousands of posts in this company forum. If anyone was to ask what this company forum was for they'd have an endless amount of reading material to see. So, back to where you get these 100 combi sounds. There are two places. One is in the user area on www.sampletank.com after you have registered SampleTank 2. But, another place you can get this plus other sounds and even some cool effect presets for ST2 is on www.esoundz.com in the member's area (membership is free and you don't even have to have purchased ST2 from esoundz to get the free stuff for it).
The 100 combis will ONLY work with ST2 XL and not LE or even L. The reason for that is because it references the sounds of the XL collection and combines them into more complex patches of layers/stacks.
