I hate to derail this thread anymore than it's been but does anybody here know how to generate an invoice for a purchase? I have a customer demanding that I send him an invoice for VAT/Tax purposes for the library he just purchased. This is the first time I've ever had to deal with anything like this and I have no idea what to do. Please help.

UK VAT? Pretty sure you'll be able to find free templates for that online.wagtunes wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 11:08 am I hate to derail this thread anymore than it's been but does anybody here know how to generate an invoice for a purchase? Well this is crap buisiness from DiscoDSP. I think its on a same level when you try to get your money back from a cheap airline company that canceled your flight. And now reading that "his" stuff was actually based on others work and now he is making money. Ehm yeah, sad, thats just sad. Being desperate by no means you have to be evil. In the end the situation you end up is your own fault. But karma strikes back eventualy. No good luck for you Disco.

i ddin't think any dev's customer interaction skills could have been worse than Quinto's (aka SKNote), but i think discoDSP just topped them.
I don't know what to write here that won't be censored, as I can only speak in profanity.

You can just make up an invoice.
All it needs to list is your business name and contact details, goods sold, date of sale, price. Same stuff as you'd get on a recipt from a shop.

Are you selling as a regular business or as a private person?
Writing invoices as private person may turn out tricky tax wise...

No, I actually am a business with a tax ID #. That's not a problem. But man, I've never run into anybody like this.martinjuenke wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 11:30 am Are you selling as a regular business or as a private person?

I wish we knew if this constitutes fraud....at least then the website can be reported. It doesn’t seem legal to me if the car dealer shows up at my house and only lets me use my car if I pay them an additional yearly fee. Discodsp might be able to charge new users the fee, but not previous users. Not even Adobe did that with their cloud based service. They released a new version.

I'd say customers have a good case if they decided to take legal action.JoaquinAce wrote: Thu May 30, 2019 11:43 am I wish we knew if this constitutes fraud....at least then the website can be reported.
