Well, now I just got told off severely by a mod because I said I didn't think anything would be done about George.

Guys, I just lost the only father I ever had and I'm not in the mood for this. I have to prepare for a funeral.

So please forgive me if I don't give a crap and I'm not getting involved in anymore of this drama.

I'm out of this thread....PERMANENTLY.

I'm making a public apology to all the mods that I offended and then I'm leaving this thread and possibly this forum for good.

I said what I said that I didn't think anything would be done because the threats I got from George were through private emails and not through this forum, thus outside of the jurisdiction of this forum. Plus, people here have done worse, IMO, and they're still here. So it takes a lot to receive a ban.

So I apologize to all the mods. It was not meant as a dig against you. It was just my assessment of the situation based on what actually went down.

Now I have to decide if I want to remain a part of this forum because I don't need this aggravation. Not today.

Well, it seems that the best for everyone now is just forget George and DiscoDSP now, and that is what I will do.

Folks, something snapped inside of me today and so I'm going to offer some friendly advice. What you do with it is up to you.

There is too much fighting in this forum. There is too much ugliness in this forum. And there is too little of what this forum should be about, making music.

In the future, if somebody says or does something that is inappropriate, report them. Don't engage. Don't start the countless knock down, drag outs that we have around here. Just report it and let the mods do their job.

Maybe if we ignore the trolls we can finally have the kind of forum that I know is possible. But it starts with you.

As I head to put the only father I ever knew in the ground, I need to have some peace in my life when I come here.

Hopefully, you do too.

The way to deal with forums/internet is you post your case/opinion and then leave it at that. Unless there is a truly positive discussion going on, move on. I've been on the internet for, oh, 40+ years. Trust me on this. Like GAS, you have to just resist the urge (to reply). That's it. There is no other magic. Otherwise you risk going on and on and on and usually making yourself look like a fool. Good luck.
