Human Voices Redux is all about voices. Lots of beautiful pads and keys of course, but also many unexpected variations such as drum and synth arps, fx and both angelic and demonic leads and beds.
Omni itself contains a huge number of vocal samples from some famous vocal sample libraries such as Symphony of Voices, Vocal Planet and Heart of Africa. For the past few months I've been trawling the library pulling out the best and also experimenting with the many sung and spoken phrases repitching and tuning using the new granular controls.
The result is a revitalization of some classic samples, and a host of new timbres and textures. I've also concentrated heavily on subtle randomizations and modulations to produce note-to-note variations. It's these automatic differences which gives these patches much greater immediate playability and realism.
Then, when I thought I'd finished, along came the 2.6 release and I revisited them all for some more tweaking and supercharged the arpeggios.
You'll find a huge variety in here. Loads of pads and choirs in all their forms from gigantic, to small and intimate, to sad, quirky and then onto solo leads.
If you think you know what to expect, then just use the video timestamps to skip to the DrumArps and see how odd it all gets. Those patches also show why there are no multis here, just patches, as I play around with the layers.
I'll post some more individual examples soon, especially in response to any questions or requests. The video walkthrough (no talking) demos every patch.
There's 120 patches for Omni 2.6 with a regular price of $27. Use the code KVR to get 33% off until the end of May. To purchase, and for more info, please visit my site:

Here's a single patch playing a Bruckner motet midi file. The file spans about four octaves. The midi file is played as-is by the single patch. The patch likewise has no auotmation or effects, not even any modwheel. Just set and forget. I think it shows how the various randomizations and modulations produce a humanized sound by default:

Realized I forgot to mention the most basic details
Redux contains 120 single patches consisting of:
12 Arpeggios
7 Bass
7 Chord
10 Drum arpeggios
12 FX patches
20 Keys
13 Leads
32 Pads
7 Solo sounds
Programming was done on a modest i3 PC and no patches use quad resonators or Innerspace. Granular is extensively used but the i3 handled all patches very easily.
The modwheel is individually programmed in detail for every patch, but no aftertouch programming. Any extra 'tail' effects are typically on the Aux bus to allow for effects overlap when playing. The arp patches do not use any melodic lines, just octaves. (I hate using other people's riffs). Patches are all tagged and categorized, with relevant notes on particular techniques which may be useful playing that patch
The patch names attempt to usefully describe the sound and include an end code indicating how the modwheel is programming, eg: "Lead - Gorgons and Orcs MW Distort" (A lead sound with the modwheel adding distortion). All patches are carefully volume matched.
